Agreement:

  • Equipment is not reserved until you receive a confirmation call or E-mail.
  • Equipment check-out and return: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. only. One week advance notice is recommended for request processing and reservation of equipment.
  • Equipment check-out only at Malibu campus and as long as equipment is available. University equipment must remain on the Malibu campus.
  • Departments must approve check-out for students, student organizations, and campus visitors. Equipment is not for personal use.
  • University equipment training is available from Presentation Services by appointment.
  • Equipment setup assistance is available for some large-scale University events and academic engagements as Presentation Services’ schedule allows. Two weeks advanced notice is generally needed to accommodate staffing requests for such events.
  • Presenter is expected to meet with technician at appointed time (typically 30 min prior to start) to conduct a test run for staffed events.
  • Client is required to notify check-out personnel of any problems with equipment upon return.
  • Contact Lab Manager or Seaver Technology Liaisons for computer lab or classroom equipment needs; and University Communications for video conversion/duplication.
  • Presentation Services does not provide nor sell audio or video tapes.
  • Charges may be levied for any of the following: staffing; late equipment return; and damaged, lost or stolen equipment.
  • The Presentation Services office is open from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. During the academic year we are closed Wednesday mornings due to Chapel in the Firestone Fieldhouse. All equipment checkouts are by appointment only.
  • Presentation Services is located in the basement of the Tyler Campus Center (TCC), directly below the Bookstore and next to the loading dock. To locate our office, you can take the TCC elevator down to the basement, or take the outside stairs which are located to the right of the TCC Bank of America ATM machine.
